Who We Are
MADventures is a husband-and-wife creative studio based in Twin Peaks, California. We build custom websites, shape creative products, share journal content, and link visitors to our Etsy shop for faith-filled goods and small-batch items.
When this policy says "MADventures," "we," "us," or "our," it refers to the MADventures website at wearemadventures.com and the people operating it. You can reach us at hello@wearemadventures.com.

Information you choose to send
When you use our contact form, email us, request a custom website, ask about products, or discuss custom work, we may collect your name, email address, subject, budget range, timeline, message, and any other details you choose to include.
If you request custom work, those details may include project goals, reference materials, product ideas, brand preferences, files, links, or other information needed to understand and respond to your request.
Website and technical information
Our hosting provider and website tools may collect ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages, pages visited, dates and times, server logs, and security events. This information helps keep the site working, secure, and understandable.
Etsy and third-party checkout
Our product listings currently direct buyers to Etsy. Etsy handles checkout, payment processing, order accounts, taxes, buyer messaging, and certain shipping or marketplace functions. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers on wearemadventures.com.
Cookies and local storage
Our site may use basic cookies or browser storage for practical features like admin sessions, security tokens, theme preference, and interface behavior. We do not currently use advertising cookies on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy.
How We Use Information
We use information for practical, people-first reasons:
- To respond to your messages, estimates, product questions, and custom work requests.
- To manage inquiries in our private CMS inbox.
- To plan, quote, design, build, revise, and deliver custom creative services.
- To operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
- To maintain business records, tax records, security records, and legal compliance records.
- To connect approved Etsy API callbacks between Etsy and our private dashboard when needed for shop operations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your contact form message to send unrelated marketing unless you ask us to or clearly opt in.
Data Retention
We keep inquiries, messages, order-related notes, and business records only as long as reasonably needed for studio operations, customer service, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, and security. Contact form submissions may be kept in our CMS inbox until they are no longer useful or until we receive and can honor a deletion request.
Your Choices and Rights
You may contact us to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have sent directly to MADventures. We will respond reasonably and may need to verify your request before acting on it.
California and other privacy laws may provide additional rights depending on where you live and whether those laws apply to our business at the time of your request. Even when a specific law does not require it, we will do our best to handle privacy requests with care.
For information connected to your Etsy account, Etsy order, Etsy payment, or Etsy marketplace activity, you may also need to contact Etsy directly because Etsy controls that account and marketplace data.
Children's Privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child sent us personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and practical safeguards to protect information. No website, server, email account, or online system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take security seriously and aim to collect only what we need.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the website, shop, services, or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date will show when the policy was most recently revised.
